Safety response
Reports can be prioritized by severity, with relevant evidence preserved for review. Blocking and interaction restrictions can take effect immediately when needed to protect a member.
Fairness and limits
Automated signals can assist prioritization but should not be treated as infallible. An allegation does not by itself prove wrongdoing, and appropriate appeal paths may be available.
Safety Policy in practice
Safety governance should be both responsive and reviewable. Heart Connect can use automated signals to detect patterns, rate-limit abuse or prioritize urgent reports, but serious decisions should not depend on a hidden score alone. Human reviewers can consider the reported content, account history relevant to the case and the member’s explanation where appropriate. Restrictions may be immediate when needed to reduce risk, while eligible appeals provide a way to correct mistakes. Confidential reporter information and unrelated private conversations should remain protected throughout review and enforcement.
How this fits the Heart Connect service
Heart Connect legal and policy pages are designed to make platform expectations understandable before and during membership. They work together with the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and they do not remove rights that apply under local law. Where a process depends on a payment provider, purchase channel, jurisdiction, identity check or safety review, the page explains that dependency rather than promising an outcome that Heart Connect cannot guarantee.
