Authenticity

Use your own identity and content, describe yourself truthfully and do not impersonate people, organizations or verification status.

Consent and communication

Do not pressure, harass, stalk, threaten, blackmail or continue unwanted contact. Sexual or intimate content requires consent and must comply with the Content and Prohibited Content policies.

Safety and integrity

Romance scams, phishing, credential requests, trafficking, exploitation, underage use and attempts to defeat platform security are prohibited and may lead to restriction or removal.

Community Guidelines in practice

Community standards apply across profile text, photos, messages, voice notes, calls and meetings arranged through Heart Connect. Respect includes accepting that another member can change their mind, end a conversation or decline a request without owing further contact. Authenticity means not only using a real identity but also avoiding misleading relationship intentions, fake verification claims and deceptive commercial motives. Safety rules continue to apply when behavior moves outside the app if the conduct creates a meaningful risk connected to Heart Connect, such as threats, blackmail, stalking, scams or exploitation.

How this fits the Heart Connect service

Online dating safety works best as several layers rather than a single badge or automated score. Heart Connect combines member controls, clear warnings, rate limits, reporting, blocking and authorized review, while members keep control over what they share and whether they meet offline. Verification can add authenticity context but cannot guarantee character or future behavior. Immediate physical danger should be handled through the relevant local emergency service rather than waiting for a platform response.
